Connecting customers and transfer dealers

When you buy a firearm online or from an out-of-state seller, it has to ship to a local federal firearms licensee (FFL) who runs the background check and hands it over. This directory helps customers find a nearby dealer who accepts transfers — and lets dealers publish their transfer policies, fees, and hours so the right customers can find them.

Shipments to FFL's that Don't Accept Transfers

Additionally, this can delay your shipment by days or even weeks. Some FFL's are only open one day a week and carriers make multiple delivery attempts...
